So far so good by Behzad on 4/24/2018I chose lime scent which is not so fresh smelling or lingering as the original scent IMO, but cannot complain at the current price point. Isopropanol does its cleaning job and the sachet contents do the rest to lubricate and deodorize the shaver head. ;)

Pleasant Lime Scented CCR Refill Solution. by Andrew D. on 1/12/2017This is my first try of the CCRRefills Braun shaver cleaning solution and after obtaining a bulk container of 70% isopropyl alcohol, as this was all I could obtain locally, I mixed up a packet of solution with the alcohol as per the instructions.
As I already had an empty and clean CCR cartridge on hand I filled it with the new cleaning mixture and tested it with the shaver in it's charger/cleaning station.
Was pleased that the station accepted the solution and scent was natural and to my liking.
After the process I inspected the cutting cassette and inside, which looked nice and clean with the scent there in the background.
I can recommend the CCRefills packet solution alternative.

Not Recommended by Karl Wichser on 4/6/2016This product gummed up the shaver and the impellor of the base unit. I've used straight denatured alcohol for years in the refills and that is what I'll continue to use. This product is not recommended.
Response from CCRRefills.com: This is the first report of this in over 5 years of sales and tens of thousands of refill packets sold. There are no ingredients in the packets that can gum up, been using myself for over 5 years with no issue. It's likely the wrong type of alcohol was used or this review may have been meant for a competing brand product where such issues are common. Buyer has been contacted to resolve issue.
